Our Mission

Myanmar Institute of Theology has departments including Department of Theological Studies, Department of Biblical Studies, Department of Practical Studies, Department of Mission and Historical Studies, Music Department, Judson Research Center, Peace Studies Center, Gender Study Center, Office, and Library. Theology Program offers D.Min, M.Div, M.Min, M.Th, M.TL, MACS degrees, and LAP Program offers B.A, B.Sc, MAID, MAPS, MACD degrees. The president of the Institute is Rev. Dr. Samuel Ngun Ling.

Mission Objectives

1. To conduct revival programs and training events for churches to awaken spiritual revival and mission-mindedness among believers.
2. To conduct support programs, training through classes for churches to become comprehensive mission churches.
3. To conduct technology and financial support programs for churches to become self-reliant and self-supporting.
4. To conduct training programs for churches to stand for justice, human rights, moral integrity, and peace according to God's will in accordance with biblical principles.
5. To conduct dialogue programs with other religious organizations to promote mutual understanding, friendship, recognition, and cooperation.
6. To conduct programs for churches to become churches with extensive global mission vision.
7. To conduct programs for churches to effectively participate in national reconstruction, peace, justice, and processes according to God's will.
8. To conduct training programs and exhibitions, document collections for churches to preserve and value Baptist faith, traditions, and heritage.
